Planting & Growing • Fill a 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 in) pot half way with soil. • Plant the bulb with the pointed end up leaving 1/3 of the bulb exposed. Gently pack the soil between the roots and around the bulb. • Keep soil moist not wet and never water over the bulb nose, always around the sides of the pot. • Amaryllis grow best in direct sunlight at room temperature 21 ˚C (70 ˚F). • Move the plant out of direct sunlight when flowers appear to prolong the bloom time.
