The output side of the frequency inverter
generally contains more the high-order harmonics.
When the distance between the frequency inverter
and the motor is fart, there is large distributed
capacitance in the line, the high-order harmonics
may produce resonance in loop, bring two
influences:
1) Destroy motor insulation performance, might
damage the motor for a long time.
2) Have caused a greater leakage current and the
frequency inverter will trip frequently.
Generally, when the cables from the frequency
inverter to motor are longer than 100m, an output
AC line reactor should be used.
