2.8.1 Daily Maintenance
Manyfactorssuchasambienttemperature,humidity,dust,vibrationwillcasuetheinternal
componentsagingandgiverisetotheoccurrenceofpotentialfaultsorlessentheservicelife
oftheVFD.Therefore,itisnecessarytoconductroutinemaintenancetotheVFD.
Attention
The high voltage still exist in the filter capacitor when the power is off, so
maintenance to the VFD couldn’t be performed immediately, it could be
performed if the busbar voltage (the voltage between terminals (+) and (-) )
measured by multimeter after 5 minutes is below 36V.
Dailyinspectionitems:
1)Whenrunning,whetherthemotorhasabnormalsound.
2)Whenrunning,whetherthemotorgeneratesvibration.
3)WhethertheinstallationenvironmentoftheVFDchanges.
