Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter Unlock Press to unlock the driver’s door. Press again to unlock all doors. Lock Press to lock all doors. The driver’s door will not lock when open if the Unlocked Door Anti Lock Out feature is turned on. Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm Press and hold briefly to locate your vehicle. The turn signal lamps will flash and the horn will sound. Press and hold for three seconds to activate the alarm.
Keyless Access StartF Start With the vehicle in Park or Neutral, press the brake pedal and then press and hold the ENGINE START/STOP button to start the engine. Note: The transmitter must be in the vehicle to turn on the ignition. If the transmitter battery is weak, place the transmitter in the pocket in front of the center console cupholders to enable the engine to start. Stop Shift to Park and press the ENGINE START/STOP button to turn off the engine.
Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel With the vehicle parked, push down the lever on the left side of the steering column to adjust the steering wheel. The steering wheel can then be moved up or down and in or out. Pull up the lever to lock the steering wheel in place. See Instruments and Controls in your Owner Manual.
Climate Controls Driver’s Temperature Control Heated Steering WheelF Floor Mode Recirculation Air Mode Conditioning Control Vent Mode Fan Speed Control/Off Defog Mode Rear Window/ Outside Mirror Defogger Passenger’s Temperature Control Defrost Mode AUTO Automatic Operation Dual Automatic Operation 1. Press AUTO. 2. Set the temperature for the driver and front passenger. Allow time for the system to automatically reach the desired temperature.
Audio System Refer to your Owner Manual for important safety information about using the infotainment system while driving.
Audio System Setting the Time 1. Turn on the audio system. 2. Press the Clock button. 3. Press the MENU knob chrome ring to highlight the desired time. 4. Turn the MENU knob to change the value; press the chrome ring to confirm the set value. Press the BACK button to return to the Time Settings menu. Note: Open the Time and Date Settings in the Configuration menu to make other time and date adjustments.
IntelliLink System IntelliLink uses a Bluetooth or USB connection to link to a compatible mobile device, such as a smartphone, cell phone, USB flash drive or portable audio player/iPod®. IntelliLink enables streaming audio through a smartphone and hands-free voice control. IntelliLink System Voice Recognition Control the music source and make phone calls hands-free (after pairing your Bluetoothenabled phone) using the enhanced voice recognition system. 1. Press the Push to Talk button on the steering wheel. 2. The radio will say “Please say a command,” followed by a beep. 3. After the beep, say what you want it to do.
IntelliLink System Note: Always verify that your phone has the latest version of an application and that the phone volume is turned up. PANDORA® Internet Radio Listen to personalized radio stations based on favorite artists or genres. Download the Pandora app to your smartphone. Restart the smartphone and sign in to Pandora. Create a station on your phone to listen to a customized song list in the vehicle. Connect your smartphone/device to the system by Bluetooth or, for Apple devices, by a USB cable.
Navigation SystemF A B C Note: When the vehicle is moving, various on-screen functions are disabled to reduce driver distraction. A. NAV Navigation Press to view the vehicle’s current position on the map screen. B. DEST/NAV Destination/Navigation Press to access the Destination Entry screen to plan a destination. C. RPT/NAV Repeat/Navigation Press to repeat the voice guidance prompt.
Audio Steering Wheel Controls Volume Press + or – to adjust the volume. SRC Source Press to select an audio source. Next/Previous Rotate the thumbwheel up or down to go to the next or previous favorite radio station, track, or file. Push to Talk Press to answer an incoming call or interact with the audio, Bluetooth, or OnStar® system. End Call/Mute Press to end or reject a call. Press to mute the vehicle speakers. Driver Information Center The Driver Information Center (DIC) on the instrument cluster displays a variety of vehicle system information and warning messages. DIC Controls C B A A. MENU Press to display the Vehicle Information menu (units, tire pressure, remaining oil life, battery voltage) or the Trip/Fuel menu (digital speedometer, trip odometers, fuel range, average fuel economy, instantaneous fuel economy, average vehicle speed, time, OnStar Turn-by-Turn guidance navigation). Automatic Transmission Manual Mode Manual Mode allows the driver to shift gears manually. This feature can be used to drive the vehicle in a sportier manner, or to downshift when driving on a downhill grade to provide engine braking. 1. Move the shift lever left to the +/– position. 2. Tap the shift lever forward (+) to upshift or rearward (–) to downshift. The current gear will be displayed on the Driver Information Center.
Electric Parking Brake To apply the parking brake, pull up the Parking Brake switch by the shift lever. The Brake and Parking Brake warning lamps on the instrument cluster illuminate when the parking brake is applied. To release the parking brake, turn on the ignition, press the brake pedal and press down the Parking Brake switch. Note: The parking brake will automatically release if the vehicle is running, placed into gear, and an attempt is made to drive away.
Ultrasonic Rear Parking AssistF Detected objects are indicated by audible beeps when the vehicle is in Reverse. The interval between beeps becomes shorter as the vehicle gets closer to an object. When the distance is less than 12 in. (30cm), the beeps are continuous. The system operates only at speeds less than 5 mph. To turn the system Off or On, press the CONFIG button to access the Configure menu and select Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems > Park Assist.
Forward Collision AlertF When the green symbol is displayed on the instrument cluster, the system is tracking the vehicle ahead. When approaching a vehicle directly ahead too quickly, a visual alert is displayed on the Driver Information Center and audible beeps sound. Press the Forward Collision Alert button on the steering wheel to select a follow gap setting of Far, Medium, Near, or Off. See Driving and Operating in your Owner Manual.
