Like any domestic appliance, this scale must be used with care and attention to prevent the scale getting damaged. BEFORE USING THE SCALE FOR THE FIRST TIME, READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS ON INSTALLATION CAREFULLY. BUTTON OPERATION “PROXIMITY” Place your hand just over the scale weighing surface for more than 2 sec. Automatically the 4 function buttons light up.
FUNCTION Battery installation To install the batteries follow the paragraph “REPLACE BATTERY”. NOTE: After you install or replace new batteries, please wait about 30 sec then do the starting-up. Switching on Place the scale on flat and firm surface - this is essential for correct measurement. Place your hand just over the scale weighing surface for more than 2 sec. . Automatically the 4 function buttons light up on the display . Touch the surface of the ON/OFF button to switch on the scale .
Timer function Touch the surface of MODE Button to enter the timer mode. The LED display shows M 00:00S. M = Minute S = Second - The maximum time is 90 mins 59 sec. Setting the timer 1) Touch the surface of TARE/ SET 2) Touch the surface of SYSTEM Button , the minute count will blink . Button to adjust the minutes. Each touch correspond to one minute and if touch the surface of the button, the minutes will grow continuously.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE DO NOTS: 1) Do not immense the scale in water. 2) Do not operate the scale with wet hands. 3) Do not put the scale into the dishwasher. 4) Do not put items exceeding 5 KG onto the scale as this could damage the scale. 5) Do not place items on the display part as this could damage the LED display. 6) Do not try to open the scale by force. DOS: 1) the handle to lift up the scale. 2) Always clean the scale with soft damp cloth only.
