Email Notication
Click Modify Settings to change
settings.
Click Send Test Message to send
a test email to the email address
which has been set.
Notication Select whether using Email notication feature or not.
SMTP Server Address Enter mail server address in SMTP Server Address eld.
SMTP Port No. Enter SMTP Port No.
If this is left blank, the standard port number (25) is used. If
Authentication Type is set to Disabled or POP before SMTP, then port 25
is used regardless of the number entered in this eld.
Authentication Type Select from POP before SMTP, LOGIN (SMTP-AUTH), or CRAM-MD5(SMTP-
AUTH/CRAM-MD5).
POP3 Server Address Enter mail server address in POP3 Server Address eld.
POP3 Port No. Enter POP3 Port No.
If this is left blank, the standard port number (110) is used.
SSL/TLS When LOGIN (SMTP-AUTH) or CRAM-MD5 (SMTP-AUTH/CRAM-MD5) are
selected for Authentication Type, specify either SSL or TLS.
Username Enter the username for authentication.
Password Enter the password for authentication.
Subject Specify the subject line that emails will be sent with. Use alphanumeric
characters only. Do not use multi-byte characters.
Recipient(s) Enter the email address of the recipient, and click Add. You can register
up to 5 email addresses as recipients.
Report Select the contents for email notications.
HDD Status Report
Sends the condition of the hard drives at the specied time on HDD
Status Report.
Fan Failure
Sends when the fan error is recognized.
Disk Error
Sends when the hard drive error is recognized.
System Alert
Sends when system is rebooted or shut down, or RAID conguration is
changed.
Syslog
Click Modify Settings to change
settings.
Syslog You may select to send logs to a syslog server. Select Enable for Syslog
Transfer, enter the IP address of the syslog server in Syslog Server IP
Address eld, and select Save to transmit logs to a syslog server.
