Conguring port trunking on the TeraStation:

Connect TeraStation’s LAN port 1 to a LAN port on your switch. If you’ve congured a port on the switch for port
trunking, use that one. Do not connect the TeraStation’s LAN port 2 yet.

Turn iSCSI Service back on.

Connect TeraStation’s LAN port 2 to a second LAN port on your switch. If you’ve congured another port on the
switch for port trunking, use that one.

Press and hold the power button on the TeraStation for 3 seconds to turn it o. Press the power button again to
power up the TeraStation.
Port trunking is now congured.
1 Select the items to congure for port trunking.
2 Click Save.
1 Navigate to Basic - Network - Port Trunking .
2 Click Modify Settings.
Turn o iSCSI Service on the left side of Settings.
Online Update
If a new rmware is available, the message “A new version of the rmware has been released. The current rmware can
be updated to the latest version.” is displayed when the TeraStation boots.
To update the rmware, open the TeraStation’s settings and navigate to SystemMaintenanceFirmware Installation.
Click Check for Update to check the change log, then Install Update to update to the latest rmware.
Note:
Update notication will display “I52” on the LCD and a message on the login screen when an update is available. To
disable update notication, click Disable notication of updates.
Update by Downloading File from Bualo’s Web Site
You can also update the TeraStation’s rmware manually. Visit www.bualotech.com to download the latest TeraStation
rmware updater. Double-click the le you downloaded to unzip it. The unzipped folder will include the program to
update your TeraStation’s rmware.
Update the TeraStation’s Firmware
