With Buffalo’s Dynamic Random-Access Memory portable hard drive
users no longer have to choose between speed and capacity; the
HD-PGDU3 series offers both! Buffalo’s DDR3 hard drives combine the
best of solid state drives – fast speed – with the best of standard hard
drives – affordable large capacities.
The HD-PGDU3 is equipped with Buffalo’s DDR3 Technology and has an
extra-large 1GB cache capable of extremely fast data transfer speeds.
The cache works as a buffer during read and write operations allowing
the MiniStation
™
to optimise its speed and offer up to 400MB/s write
speed and up to 300 MB/s read speed. Ready to copy 1,000 photos?
You’ll be done in about 3.5 seconds – about 2.3 times faster than a
standard USB 3.0 hard drive!
Buffalo’s portable DDR is sleek and high-design minded, including subtle
LEDs which indicate the drive’s cache use and power status.
