Standard IRIX Tools
You can also use the following standard SGI IRIX tools to monitor various system
resources:
Tool Description
sar An activity reporter for the operating system.
gr_osview A graphical system monitor. It graphically displays
real-time usage of certain system resources.
osview A text version of gr_osview.
Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) An interface for other reporting tools. It facilitates tasks
such as graphing performance data over time.
