ROOF PANELS
GENERAL RULES: Roof Panels
Remove the protective films first
[W1] x 1 [W2] x 2 [W3] x 2 [W4] x 1
These are the roof panels you will be using.
Roof Panels are asymmetrical, meaning they have assigned top/bottom. It is important to correctly identify
the top and bottom of roof panels.
Check the [W2] on the left. There are screw holes, marked as ①②③④, at both ends. Notice that screw hole
①② are much closer to the edge of [W2], compared with ③④. This is how you can tell which end is the top.
Most roof panels have two to three screw holes on each end, so the "peripheral -to-the -middle" rule is irrel-
evant, but the bottom-to-top rule still stands. Take the [W2] as an example, follow the ①②③④ order when
nailing the panel.
Besides the obvious ①②③④ screw holes, there are ten smaller screw holes on the outer ribs of this panel.
These ten smaller screw holes are used for panel stacking and will be talked about later.
Top: Ridge
Bottom: Eaves
