Note: OFF - turns off the call reminder tone; during the selection of 1-10, you can listen to the call tone.
Before you initiate a voice intercom, you can press the [ ] key to alert the listener.

VOICE Selection (VOICE) - MENU 14
Your FRS-A1 radio has voice prompt function for channel and function operation, you can choose to switch
voice function.
The setting steps are as follows:
1. Press the [MENU] key to enter the main menu, press the cd key to enter the MENU 14.
2. Press the [MENU] key again to enter the VOICE menu.
3. Press the cd to select the switch, and the selection range to either ON/OFF.
Note: OFF - turns off the voice prompt function; ON - turns on the voice prompt function.
After turning off the voice prompt function, there will be a beep prompt when you select a channel or
menu setting.
4. Press the [MENU] key to confirm your selections.
5. Press the [
WX
] key to cancel your selections.
6. Press the [PTT]
key to exit the menu mode.
