The Link A zone type is an engineer defined zone type. The programming of the
Link A zone type is split into two parts: the SIA mnemonic programming option
allows the engineer to assign a SIA code to the zone type; the Link Function
programming option allows the engineer to assign a mode of operation to the
zone type. The Link A mnemonics are given in Table 5.11 Link A SIA Mnemonic
Programming Options. The Link A (and Link B zone type) Functional program-
ming options are given in Table 5.12 Link A and Link B Functional Programming
Options. The programming routine for programming a zone as a Link A (or Link
B) type zone is illustrated in Figure 5.5 Link Zone Programming.
