Setting up Parent Unit Battery performance The Parent Unit gives up to 16 hours continuous performance on fully charged batteries. Please note however, that new batteries do not reach full capacity until they have been in normal use for several days. Running rechargeable batteries right down at least once a week will help them last as long as possible. The charge capacity of rechargeable batteries will reduce with time as they wear out, so reducing the performance time of the Parent Unit.

Plug the mains power cable into the socket marked on the side of the Baby Unit. Connect the other end to the mains power and switch on. ! WARNING Use only the mains power adapter supplied. Using an incorrect adapter may permanently damage the Baby Monitor.
BT Digital Baby Monitor – Edition 3 – 26.02.04 – 5918 6 Getting to know your Parent Unit From the Parent Unit you can listen to your baby and operate the Baby Unit by remote control. Volume + - / Up and Down Set volume. Scroll through the menu options. Power on/off Press and hold to switch the power on or off. Talk Press to talk to your baby. Sound sensitive lights Green and then red lights indicate the noise level in your baby’s room. Sensitivity Press to change the sensitivity level.

Link light Green when the Baby and Parent Units are linked. Volume + – Press to adjust the Talk Back volume. Flashes green when you press Talk or if searching for a link. Battery Low light Illuminates when batteries are low. Red if the Parent and Baby Units are not linked.

Press . The Parent Unit will automatically reset to mid volume and the paging alert will sound. 2. To stop the Page alert, press any button on the Parent Unit, or press again on the Baby Unit.
