On a BT 8528 systemphone, Q DECT telephone, Q phone and compatible standard
telephone, to Log In/Out of a group, dial 723 followed by the group directory number (180
- 199).
To log in to all groups of which you are a member, dial 723¿1.
To log out of all groups of which you are a member, dial 723¿0.
Night Service
Night Service allows you to specify how your system will handle calls during the night. You
can:
Change the extensions that ring on incoming calls.
Change the Class of Service at each extension.
Change the voice greeting that is heard by callers when they are answered by the Auto
Attendant or Courtesy Service.
Night Service can be turned on manually at extension 201 only or you can programme the
system so that it automatically activates Night Service at a pre-programmed time daily. You
can also programme the system to remain in Night Service over the weekend.
Please refer to the Administration Guide for instructions on programming Night Service
Class of Service, Auto Attendant and Courtesy services.
Turning Night Service On
Select Night service on the idle menu at the Operator Extension (extension 201).
The system is placed in Night Mode. The Idle display at all extensions is updated to indicate
that the system is operating in Night Mode. The option to turn Night Service Off is
displayed on the top of the Idle menu at extension 201 only.
Turning Night Service Off
Select Night svc off at the Operator Extension. (201)
If a BT 8528 Systemphone, Q DECT telephone or a compatible standard telephone is
equipped at extension 201 dial 738 to turn Night Service On and Off.
Operator
To call the operator, dial 0 to ring Group 11. By default, Group 11 contains extension 201
only.
