To set Do Not Disturb on your extension:
From the idle menu scroll until Do Not Disturb is displayed.
Select Do not disturb.
When Do Not Disturb is set you will hear a broken dial tone when you lift the handset.
Broken tone is not provided on DECT phones when Do Not Disturb is enabled.
To cancel Do Not Disturb on your extension:
From the Idle menu select Cancel DND. This option is only displayed when the feature
is set.
On a BT 8528 systemphone, Q DECT telephone or a compatible standard telephone:
To set Do Not Disturb, dial 736.
To Cancel Do Not Disturb, dial 736.
Forward Recall
A Forward Recall signal may be required if you are using certain network services on
standard analogue exchange lines.
To send a Forward Recall signal:
When on an external call on a systemphone select Forward recall on the display.
On a BT 8528 systemphone, Q DECT telephone or a compatible standard telephone Press
(R) or (
) and dial 728.
Logging in and out of Groups
When an extension is programmed as a member of a group the option to log in or out is
shown on the telephone display.
To Log In or Log Out of a group:
Select Log in/out from the display.
The display shows a list of the groups of which you are a member. A solid diamond beside a
group indicates that you are logged in to that group.
Select the group that you wish to Log In to or Log Out of.
