Select the group for which you wish to cancel Group Divert.
Select the Group Divert type to be cancelled.
On a BT 8528 systemphone, Q DECT telephone or a compatible standard telephone, to
Cancel Group Divert:
Dial the Group Divert Code followed by the group number.
792 (180 – 199) Divert All Calls
793(180 – 199) Divert on Busy
794(180 – 199) Divert on No Answer
Answering a Door Intercom call
You can answer a Door Intercom call if your extension is programmed to ring when the call
key on the Door Intercom is pressed. To answer a door intercom call, lift the handset and
speak. There is no code to dial.
You cannot make a call from an extension to the Door Intercom.
Opening a Door using Door Open
If you have a Door Open mechanism installed, extensions can be programmed to open the
door. When a Door Intercom call rings a systemphone Open the Door will be displayed on
the telephone.
Select Open the door. The Doorstrike will operate and the call to the Door Intercom will
be disconnected.
On a BT 8528 systemphone, Q DECT telephone or a compatible standard telephone to
open a door:
Press (R) or (
) and dial 731 if you are on a call.
Dial 731 if you are not on a call.
By default no extensions are programmed to open the door. See the Administration Guide
for instructions on programming extensions to allow them open the door from their
telephone.
Do Not Disturb
If your extension is set to Do Not Disturb anyone trying to call you will receive a busy
(engaged) tone. Call Back and Reminder Call are the only calls that ring the telephone when
Do Not Disturb is set. Do Not Disturb is not available on extension 201, the operator
extension.
