Enter your voicemail password (1111 by default).
Select Mailbox options.
Select Replay greeting and the greeting will be replayed.
Monitoring and picking-up callers as they speak to your voicemail
You can operate your voicemail in Voicemail Monitor Mode. In this mode, when calls are
diverted to your voicemail and your extension is free, the callers message is relayed over the
speaker of your systemphone. If you lift your handset you can intercept the call and no
message is left in voicemail.
Press the
key.
Enter your extension number when prompted.
Enter your voicemail password, (1111 by default).
Select Mailbox options
Scroll until Monitor is displayed.
Select Monitor.
Select Monitor on or Monitor off.
Changing your voicemail password
By default, each extension is allocated the same voicemail password (1111). You can enter
your own password, which can be up to eight digits long, as follows:
Press the
key.
Enter your extension number when prompted.
Enter your voicemail password (1111 by default).
Select Mailbox options.
Select Change password.
Enter your new voicemail password, which can be up to eight digits long.
Re-enter your new password, to confirm it.
Press the Hands-free key to finish programming.
Accessing voicemail from a BT 8528 systemphone, Q DECT, Q phone
or compatible standard telephone
The Q DECT telephones, Q phones and compatible standard telephones can also access
voicemail.
