• On a BT 8568 systemphone, press the Directory key
.
• On a BT 5330 or BT 5320 systemphone, scroll through display screens and select
Directories.
• Select Personal Entries.
• Enter the Index number (01 – 50) to specify the location of the number.
Note: The Index number is the number assigned consecutively to each item in the speed-
dial list.
• Enter the telephone number you wish to store, and select Confirm. (Do not enter the
line access code 9 or 760 – 769).
• Enter the name associated with the telephone number, and select Confirm.
• Press the Hands-free key to finish.
On a BT 8528 systemphone:
• Dial 75.
• Enter the index number (01 – 50) to specify the location of the number.
• Enter the telephone number you wish to store followed by #. (Do not enter the line
access code 9 or 760 – 769).
• Using the keypad, enter the name followed by #.
On a Q DECT telephone, Q phone or a compatible standard telephone:
Lift the handset, or press the Hands-free key if available.
• Dial the code 75.
• Enter the index (01 – 50) to indicate where you want to store the number.
• Enter the external number you want to store. Do not enter the line access code 9 or 760
– 769).
• Replace the handset.
Accessing the Personal and System Speed-dial lists from a BT 5330 or 5320
systemphone
Scroll through display screens and select Directories.
• Select PER speed dial for personal numbers and SYS speed dial for system entries.
• Enter the first letter of the name or scroll through the entries to locate the entry you
need.
• Select the name.
