Once the battery tester is well connected to the battery, the display will light on to indicate

tester version and battery voltage.

Voltmeter:

12.40V

Tester will display the following contents after press any key.

• Select Battery Type

After the battery test selected, the battery tester will prompt to select battery type,

i.e. Regular Flooded, Lithium Ion ,AGM Flat Plate, AGM Spiral, Gel and EFB battery.

Press UP/DOWN key to select battery type, then press ENTER key to conrm.

Battery Type Type

1. Regular Flooded

2. Lithium Ion

3. AGM Flat Plate

4. AGM spiral

5. GEL

Battery System Standard and Rating: the battery

tester will test each battery according to the selected

system and rating.

Use UP/DOWN key to select according to the actual

system standard and rating marked on the battery.

See in the below picture, the arrow indicated location.

BATTERY TEST RESULT

Battery test result includes 5 types as following:

Healthy >60% Voltage >12.4V Good battery

Healthy >60% Voltage <12.4V Good, Recharge

Healthy <60% Voltage >12.4V Replace

Healthy <60% Voltage <12.4V Charge, Retest

Healthy = 0

Voltage <12.4V,

Electric Current = 0A or 0 CCA

Bad cell , replace

GOOD BATTERY

CRANKING TEST

Cranking test is the Engine ignition test. This test allows to check if the battery can provide

enough power to start the engine. It tests the battery instant voltage once start the engine.

If cranking voltage value is lower than 9.6V, the result is considered as abnormal.

If the result is higher than 9.6V, the result is considered as Normal.
