These electronic pilot options are available for
Model 246 Gas-Fired Boiler application. FIA
does not approve a specific device or unit. Ap
proval applies to the complete installation
based upon the local FIA engineer's evaluation
■ of equipment, hazards of building usage, and
the insurance liabilities involved.
FIA generally recommends that gas-fired sec
tional boilers be equipped with electronically
supervised pilots, low-water cutoffs (water
boilers included), operating controllers separ
ate from limit controls, also such special gas
valving and accessory trim as is covered In the
Group C listing. To match FIA recommenda
tions, order the Group A. Manual Ignition Elec
tronic Control Package, and Group C, Valves
and Accessories, in combination with the stan
dard 246 Boiler 100% shut-off trim, either D5
(natural gas) or D2 (propane gas).
These options are A.G.A. certified for use with
the Model 246 Boiler.
