= Do not use any steel shot cartridges with steel
pellets.
A = Can handle “standard” steel shots ONLY as defined
by the C.I.P.
B = For “high performance” steel shot cartridges with
steel pellets, only use a gun that has been
specifically tested for “steel shot”.
Precautionary measures:
Before any handling make sure that your shotgun is
unloaded.
- Never shoot without having a choke tube fitted the
Invector into the shotgun.
- Only use the supplied wrench.
- Make sure that the choke tube is properly screwed fully
home without protruding out of the barrel muzzle.
- Periodically check for correct tightening of the tubes in
the barrel.

Servicing
Only use LEGIA SPRAY for longlasting and efficient
servicing of your BROWNING shotgun.
Barrel
Spray some Légia Spray in the barrel bores and allow the
product to act for some minutes. From the chamber, push
a cleaning rod with a brush through the barrel, followed
by a flannelette. It may be necessary to clean a second
time around the chamber to barrel joint area. When the
bore is completely clean, push a flannelette though it
which has been lightly oiled. This will protect the bore
until the next time you use your gun.
External surfaces
Spray the product over the external parts of the gun and
wipe off excess oil with a soft, dry cloth.
Friction surfaces
These must always be perfectly clean and coated with a
light film of oil or light grease.
From time to time, a drop of oil should be applied to each
side of the barrel’s breech faces and on the action frame’s
hinge pin. Do not apply too much oil on the action frame
so as to avoid making the wood spongy.
Wood
The wood has a tendancy to absorb moisture, particularly
in wet weather. In order to avoid harmful distorsion, the
shotgun should be stored in a clean and ventilated place,
far from any source of strong heat. In this way, the wood
will progressively lose the moisture it has absorbed
without distortion or cracks.
For wood with oiled finish, regularly apply LEGIA stock
spray or a little linseed oil.
