AMMUNITION
DISCHARGING FIREARMS IN POORLY VENTILATED AREAS, CLEANING
FIREARMS OR HANDLING AMMUNITION MAY RESULT IN EXPOSURE TO
LEAD AND OTHER SUBSTANCES KNOWN TO CAUSE BIRTH DEFECTS,
REPRODUCTIVE HARM AND OTHER SERIOUS PHYSICAL INJURY. HAVE
ADEQUATE VENTILATION AT ALL TIMES. WASH HANDS THOROUGHLY
AFTER EXPOSURE.
DO NOT USE AMMUNITION OTHER THAN WHAT IS INSCRIBED ON THE
RIGHT SIDE OF THE BARREL. EXAMINE EVERY CARTRIDGE YOU PUT IN
YOUR FIREARM.
The barrel and action of this rifle have been made with substantial
safety margins over the pressures developed by established American
loads. However, we assume no responsibility for incidents which occur
through the use of cartridges of nonstandard dimension or those
developing pressures in excess of SAAMI (Sporting Arms and
Ammunition Manufacturers Institute) established standards.
MAGAZINE CAPACITY
BAR MK 3 rifles utilize either a detachable box magazine attached to a
hinged floorplate or a detachable box magazine not attached to a
hinged floorplate. The two types of magazines are not interchangeable
between rifles.
The capacity of magazines that attach to a hinged floorplate is four
cartridges for standard calibers and three cartridges for magnum and
WSM calibers. Another cartridge may be carried in the chamber,
providing a total rifle capacity of five cartridges for standard calibers
and four cartridges for magnum and WSM calibers. Remember, total
rifle capacity includes an additional cartridge which can be loaded in
the chamber in addition to a full magazine.
The capacity of the magazine that does not attach to a hinged
floorplate is 10 cartridges. Another cartridge may be carried in the
