Formatting the memory card
 Format Method
1 Display the second page of the [Change settings] screen.
• Refer to "Displaying the [Change settings] screen" on page 60 to display the [Change
settings] screen.
2 Select [Format microSD card].
3 Select [Continue?].
• To cancel initialization, select either [Cancel] or [Return], or press .
When the memory card is formatted, all files including the unit-specific files are
deleted from the memory card and empty Main and Security folders are created.
• Similar to formatting in Windows, all folders and files within the memory card
are deleted.
• Use the unit to format the memory card. If a software that is not compatible
with Windows or SD standards is used to format the card, the card may
become incompatible with SD standards and compatibility may become an
issue.
• The maximum microSD memory card capacity for this unit is 2GB.
microSDHC memory cards are not compatible with this unit.
• The card is formatted in FAT16.
• SV-Manager initialization does not format.
