Welding (Merging the Outlines of
Multiple Patterns)
When multiple patterns are selected, the outlines of
those patterns can be welded to create a single
outline.
a Select two heart patterns of different sizes and
arrange them in the mat layout screen.
b Touch the large heart pattern in the mat layout
screen, and then drag it over the small pattern.
c Touch in the mat editing screen.
• For details on the functions in the mat editing
screen, see “Layout Editing Functions” on page 42.
d Select , and then touch the “OK” key.
• Two pattern selection functions are available
depending on your preference. For details on
selecting multiple patterns, see “Selecting Multiple
Patterns” on page 38.
e Touch the "Object Edit" key in the mat layout
screen.
f Touch in the object editing screen.
g Check the preview, and then touch the “OK”
key.
Note
• Welding pattern outlines cannot be undone. In
order to recreate the original pattern
arrangement, select the patterns again, and
then arrange them.
