Adjusting the Position of the Feed
Roller
For normal operations (when the optional roll feeder
is not used), it is not necessary to adjust the position
of the feed roller. If the feed roller is inadvertently
moved, follow the procedure below to return it to its
original position.
For details on using the roll feeder, refer to the
manual included with it.
a Shaft
b Feed roller
: Move the feed roller to this position for
normal operations.
: Move the feed roller to this position when
the roll feeder is being used.
c Feed roller lock dial
Rotates forward/backward to lock/release the
feed roller.
d Feeder release lever
Locks/releases the shaft.
a Pull the feeder release lever toward you to
release the shaft.
b Rotate the feed roller lock dial toward the back
to unlock the feed roller, and then move the
feed roller to the mark.
c Rotate the feed roller lock dial toward you to
lock the feed roller, and then push the feeder
release lever to the position.
Note
• Be careful not to pinch your fingers while
operating the feeder release lever.
