Retrieving a Pattern on the Machine
The procedure for retrieving a pattern from the batch-downloaded folder is described below. For details on other
methods for retrieving patterns, refer to the Operation Manual supplied with it. This example shows the procedure for a
quilt piecing pattern up to cutting. Refer to the recipe book included in the batch-downloaded folder for details on
completing the project after cutting.
a Attach the material to the mat appropriate for the material.
• The appropriate mat differs depending on the material type. For details, refer to the “Reference Table of Mat, Blade and
Material Combinations” in the Operation Manual for the machine.
• Attach the material so it does not extend from the attaching area of the cutting mat.
• Better cutting results can be obtained by using material that is slightly larger than the pattern.
b Insert the USB flash drive (containing the patterns for the rotary auto blade) into the USB port of the machine.
c Touch in the home screen, and then select “My Collection”.
d Select the folder of the pattern collection for the rotary auto blade, and then select DXRBKIT1002_B.fcn in the
folder.
e Check the retrieved pattern, touch the “OK” key, and then touch the “Edit” key.
f Select all patterns in the edit screen.
 If there is only one cutting pattern, skip to step h and specify the seam allowance.
