• This message appears if
the set number of digits
are not entered while
inputting the bar code
data.
• Input the correct number
of digits or change the
number of digits set in the
bar code parameters.

CHRS!
• This message appears if
any characters other than
letters and numbers are
selected in the numbering
field.
• Only select letters and
numbers in the number
ing field.
LENGTH
LIMIT!
• This message appears if a
character, bar code,
space, return or new
block is entered, causing
the text to exceed the one
meter limit.
• Delete some of the text or
reduce the character size.
LINE
LIMIT!
• This message appears if
the number of lines in the
text is greater than the
maximum number of
lines possible for the
installed tape.
• Reduce the number of
lines or install a tape of
greater width.
MEMORY
FULL!
• This machine can store
about 2,000 characters in
its memory. This message
appears when you try to
store a message that is too
large to fit in the available
memory space.
• Stop trying to store the
message or delete an
unwanted file to make
room for the new one.
NO
FILES!
• This message appears if
you try to recall or delete
a text file from the mem
ory when none are cur
rently stored.
• Store a text file first.
NO
TAPE!
• This message appears if
you try to print a label or
feed the tape when a tape
cassette is not installed.
• Install a tape cassette and
try again.
