Quitting P-touch Quick Editor
On an IBM PC-compatible computer:
• From the application:
 Right-click in the label view (or text box), and then click [Exit] in the menu that appears.
• From the taskbar:
 Right-click on the P-touch Quick Editor icon in the system tray, at the right of the taskbar, and
then click [Exit] in the menu that appears.
On a Macintosh computer:
• From the pop-up menu:
 While holding down the Control key, click in the label view (or text box), and then click [Quit]
in the menu that appears.
• From the application menu:
 Click the [File] menu, and then click the [Quit] command.
Maintenance
Cleaning the print head and roller
A blank horizontal line appearing through the printed label indicates that the print head and roller are
dirty. Clean the print head and roller according to the following procedure.
1 Turn off the PT-1500PC.
2 Open the tape compartment cover.
3 Remove the tape cassette if one is installed.
Removing the label backing
The enclosed tape separator enables you to easily remove the backing from labels printed on laminated tape.
Print head
1 Hold the tape in your left hand, with the
printed surface facing up, and hold the stick
in your right hand.
2 Pass the tape halfway through the long
narrow hole in the stick.
3 Turn the stick three-quarters of a turn
towards you, and then pull the stick away
from you as shown in the illustration.
4 Peel off the label backing.
