MAKING COPIES
Copy Mode (Temporary Setting)
Press Copy Mode repeatedly until the LED is
illuminated for Auto, Text or Photo, as needed.
The factory default setting is Auto.
Auto — Select when the original includes both
text and photographs.
Text — Select when the original contains only
text.
Photo — Select when the original is a picture.
Copying a Photograph

Insert the photo face up in the feeder or face down on the glass
platten.

Press Copy Mode until the Photo LED is
illuminated.

Using the numeric keys, enter the number of
copies you want (up to 99).

Press Copy.
Basic Copy Operations
Copying One Page

Insert the document face up in the feeder, or face down on the glass
platten.

If necessary, use the Copy keys to change the setting.

Press Copy.
Do NOT pull on the paper while copying is in progress.
