Memory storage 1
Even if there is a power failure, you will not
lose the settings you have chosen using the
MENU button because they are stored
permanently. Also, you will not lose your
settings in the FAX, SCAN, COPY and
PHOTO CAPTURE mode key menus if you
have chosen Set New Default or
Favorite Settings. You may have to
reset the date and time.
Note
During a power failure the machine will
retain messages that are in the memory
for approximately 24 hours.
Sleep Mode 1
You can choose how long the machine will
remain idle (from 1 to 60 minutes) before it
goes into Sleep Mode. The timer will restart if
any operation is carried out on the machine.
a Press MENU.
b Press a or b to display
General Setup.
c Press General Setup.
d Press a or b to display Sleep Mode.
e Press Sleep Mode.
f Press 1 Min, 2 Mins, 3 Mins,
5 Mins, 10 Mins, 30 Mins or
60 Mins, which is the length of time the
machine is idle before entering sleep
mode.
g Press Stop/Exit.
