Pull up the document stopper.
If the original “double-feeds”, try to straighten the paper or try again by inserting
a simple sheet of original in the Automatic Document Feeder or use glass
platen.
Using the Glass Platen
To use the glass platen, the Automatic Document Feeder must be empty.
Lift the document cover.
Using the document guidelines on the left, centre the document FACE DOWN on the glass
platen.
Close the document cover.
If the document is a book or is thick, do not slam the cover or press on
it, as damage to the glass platen may result.
