Scanning a document using the WIA driver

XP you can choose Windows
®
Image Acquisition (WIA) for scanning images from the
machine. You can scan images directly into any other application that supports WIA or TWAIN scanning.
Note
Duplex Scan is not supported in the WIA driver.
How to access the scanner 2
Note
The instructions for scanning in this Guide are for when you use Scanners and Cameras Wizard by
double-clicked the Brother MFC-XXXX or DCP-XXXX icon located in the Start/Control Panel/Printers
and Other Hardware/Scanners and Camera (or Control Panel/Scanner and Camera). The steps for
scanning from another application may vary.
a Double-Click the Brother MFC-XXXX or DCP-XXXX icon. Scanner and Camera Wizard will appear.
