How to Fax
You can send faxes from the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) or
from the scanner glass.
Enter Fax mode
Before sending faxes, make sure (
Fax
) is illuminated in
green. If not, press (
Fax
) to enter Fax mode. The default
setting is Fax.
Faxing from the automatic document feeder (ADF)
The ADF can hold up to 50 pages and feeds each sheet individually.
Use standard (75 g/m
2
) paper and always fan the pages before
putting them in the ADF.

Make sure documents written with ink are completely dry.
■
The documents to be faxed must be from 148 to 216 mm wide
and 148 to 356 mm long.
Setup Send
DO NOT use paper that is curled, wrinkled, folded, ripped,
stapled, paper clipped, pasted or taped.
DO NOT use cardboard, newspaper or fabric. (To fax this kind
