AUTO DIAL NUMBERS AND DIALING OPTIONS 8 - 8
Pause
Press Redial/Pause to insert a 3.5 second pause between numbers. If you are
dialing overseas, you can press Redial/Pause as many times as needed to
increase the length of the pause.
Hold
1 Press Hold to put a call on Hold.
2 You can replace the handset without disconnecting the call.
3 Pick up the MFC handset. (Picking up an extension handset will not release the
call from Hold.)
Redial
If the last number you dialed was busy, press Redial/Pause for easy dialing.
Tone/Pulse (For Canada only)
If you have pulse dialing service, but need to send tone signals (for telephone
banking, for example), follow the directions below. If you have touch tone
service, you do not need this feature to send tone signals.
1 Lift the handset.
2 Press #. Any digits dialed after this send tone signals.
3 When you hang up, the MFC returns to pulse dialing service.
