g Lift the scanner cover to release the
lock (1). Gently push the scanner cover
support down (2) and close the scanner
cover (3).
h Push the paper tray firmly back into the
machine.
Note
Make sure you pull out the paper support
until it clicks.
Printer jam or paper jam
(MFC-6490CW only) B
Take out the jammed paper depending on
where it is jammed in the machine. Open and
close the scanner cover to clear the error.
a Pull the paper tray (1) out of the
machine.
