6. USING THE OPERATION PANEL (BASIC OPERATIONS)

6-2-2. Setting the sewing pattern

Press the sewing pattern select keys ([1] to [7] in the

illustration left) to select the sewing pattern. The indicator for

the key that was pressed will illuminate and the pattern

number that has been set for that key will appear in the main

display .

* When a sewing pattern has been set, be sure to set the

zigzag width. (Refer to page 31.)

[1] Plain zigzag

[2] 2-step zigzag

[3] 3-step zigzag

[4] Straight stitching

Note:

If the needle bar is at the needle up stop position, the needle bar will move to the sewing start position when the sewing

pattern settings are changed.

If the needle bar is not at the needle up stop position, the needle bar will move to the sewing start position after it next

moves to the needle up stop position.
