Delayed Batch Transmission
Before sending the delayed faxes, your FAX/MFC will economize by sorting all
the documents in memory by destination and scheduled time. All delayed faxes
scheduled at the same time to the same fax number will be sent as one
transmission.

Press Menu/Set, 2, 2, 5.

Press to select ON (or OFF),
and then press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
Setting Up Polled Transmit
Polled Transmit is when you set up your FAX/MFC to wait with a document so
another fax machine can retrieve it.

Place the original to be retrieved face down in the ADF.

Press Menu/Set, 2, 2, 7.

Press to choose ON (or OFF),
and then press Menu/Set.

Press 1 to leave the original waiting in
the ADF—OR—Press 2 to scan the
original into memory.

If you want to select additional settings, press 1. The LCD returns to the SETUP
SEND menu—OR—Press 2 if you are finished choosing settings.

Press Fax Start.
Note
If you pressed 1 in Step 4, the printed document remains in the ADF until your
FAX/MFC is polled. If you must use your FAX/MFC before the polled transmit
occurs, you must cancel this job.
