IEC 60825 Specification (For 220–240 V Model Only)
This printer is a Class 1 laser product as defined in IEC 60825 specifications. The
label shown below is attached in countries where it is required.

This printer has a Class 3B Laser Diode that emits invisible laser radiation in the
Scanner Unit. The Scanner Unit should not be opened under any circumstances.

Before this product is used, ensure that you use a double-shielded interface cable
with twisted-pair conductors and that it is marked “IEEE 1284-compliant.” We
recommend to use a parallel cable that is 2.0 meters (6 1/2 feet) or less.
