USING THE WINDOWS

-BASED BROTHER SMARTUI CONTROL CENTER (FOR WINDOWS

XP)
File attachments
Items are mailed as file attachments using the file type you have
selected.
Convert attachments to specified file type
—Click this check box if
you want to change the file type of attachments.
All documents and image items—Click this check box if you want to
convert all scanned images to the same file type.
PaperPort image items (MAX) only
—Click this check box if you want
to convert only attachments that are PaperPort MAX files.
Combine items into single file, if possible—Click this check box if you
want to combine all the attachments into one file. With this box
unchecked each scanned page will be saved in its own individual file.
File Type
—Select from the pull-down list the type of file you want the
scanned images to be saved in.
