Print server (NC-2010p/NC-2100p)
(For HL-5040, HL-5050 and HL-5070N)
An optional network print server (NC-2010p/NC-2100p) allows you to connect to your network through
the parallel interface.
The NC-2010p and NC-2100p print server offers the following protocol support when you use it on the
HL-5040, HL-5050 and HL-5070N printers:
■ NC-2010p: TCP/IP, Netware, NetBIOS, DLC/LLC, DEC LAT, Banyan VINES and AppleTalk*
protocols
■ NC-2100p: TCP/IP, NetBIOS and AppleTalk protocols
■ Superior network and printer management:
■ BRAdmin Professional Windows
®
-based Management utility.
■ SNMP MIB I and MIB II over IP or IPX
■ Remote console management via DEC NCP, TELNET or NetWare.
■ Embedded web server support.
■ Flash memory for easy updating of firmware.
