2. LEVEL 1 FIP
2.1 Level 1 FIP
The level 1 FIP is the first step for trouble diagnosis. The level 1 FIP isolates the
presence of various troubles including error codes, and the level 2 FIP provides a guide
for proceeding of the troubleshooting.
2.2 Flow of Level 1 FIP
Ask the operator about trouble status.
Is operator's operating method correct?
Is error code displayed?
Instruct how to operate.
Is trouble related to image
quality?
Image quality
troubleshooting.

Print in the mode where the
trouble occurred to check if
error or jam occurs.
