Remote control Battery installation 1 . I f the remote control is being used for the first time, remove the insulating mylar strip from the battery compartment to allow contact. 2 . To replace the battery, press and hold the battery release tab in the direction of arrow as shown in the diagram on the back of the remote control. 3 . Pull out the battery holder completely. 4 . Remove the old battery. 5 . Place a new CR2025 battery in the battery tray, positive side up. 6 .
Scanning a photo 1 . Power on the unit. 2 . Press the SCAN button to enable the scan function. 3 . Adjust the Paper Feed Guide on the scanner to the size of your photo. 4 . I nsert the picture in the Protective Sleeve (if needed) face up and push it forward into the Photo Feed Slot until the picture is automatically pulled in and scanned. 5 . D o not press any buttons or touch photo while the scanning is in progress. Wait until the process is complete. Note: This scanner supports photo sizes from 1.
Save this Image Press or to highlight Save This Image, then press to save. A status message will appear on the screen to indicate when the photo is saved. Image showing the photo being saved is in progress. Note: Saved scanned images are saved into the Scanned Image folder on the frame. The saved file will be named with a 4-digit number, with Scan as a prefix which runs from 0001 to 9999. For example, scan_0001.jpg. When the counter reaches 9999 it simply starts over from 0001 again.
Exit Scan Mode Press or to highlight Exit Scan mode, then press to exit and return to the Scanned Image mode. The last scanned photo will not be saved in the internal memory. Select a storage device This photo frame can play back content from internal and external memory devices such as USB flash drives, and memory cards (MMC, SD, MS/MS pro, CF type I, and xD cards) typically used with digital cameras. More than one external memory device can be inserted at the same time.

DESCRIPTIONS Copy to This option allows you to copy the selected photo and/or scanned image from the current memory device to other available memory device(s). Available memory devices will be displayed when this option is selected. Delete To delete the selected photo, select Yes. Otherwise choose No to cancel.
Mark: Allows you to select multiple photos to copy or delete. Select Mark Several: if you want to select multiple photos. It will bring you back to the / / / buttons and press OK to thumbnail screen for photo selection. Use the make your selection (see below). A check mark will appear on all selected photos. Press to return to Settings menu to continue Copy to, or Delete function. Note: Select Mark Several selects thumbnails currently viewed on screen. It cannot select more than 15 photos at a time.
Manual Rotate: Photos can be manually rotated by pressing the button (on the remote) in full screen mode. Each press of this button will rotate the photo by 90º clockwise. Auto Rotate: Landscape or portrait display of a photo will be automatically switched according to the unit orientation. If the horizontally placed photo frame is rotated right by 90˚, the displayed photo will automatically rotate counter-clockwise by 90˚.

For non 4:3 photo, a small part of the photos on the left/right or top/bottom sides may be cropped.

Transfer the scanned images to a computer When connecting to a PC, the photo frame allows you to transfer music, video and photo files between the photo frame’s internal memory, a memory card inserted and PC. 5. I t may take a few seconds for Windows® to recognize the photo frame. When the photo frame is recognized, 3 new removable drives should appear in Windows® Explorer. One of these drives is labeled SCANFRAME, representing the internal memory of the photo frame. The other 2 drives are labeled Removable Disk, representing CF type I card and SD/MMC/MS/xD card in sequential order. Images scanned onto the frame will appear in a folder called “Scanned Images” in the SCANFRAME folder.
