Global Configuration Commands
Use this command to configure and set the system prompt.
Syntax
prompt(LINE)

LINE String + optional modifiers below
%% Percent sign
%h Hostname
%m Current configuration mode
%n Cli line
%p Privilege mode sign
%s Space
%t Tab
%A Date and time in ASCII format
%D Date in MM/DD/YY format
%N Newline
%T Time in hh:mm:ss format

Enter the new prompt displayed by the switch with the optional modifies mentioned
below;
• %% – Percent sign.
• %h – Hostname.
• %m – Current configuration mode.
• %n – CLI line.
• %p – Privilege mode sign.
• %s – Space.
• %t – Tab.
• %A – Date and time in ASCII format.
• %D – Date in MM/DD/YY format.
• %N – Newline.
• %T – Time in hh:mm:ss format.
