errdisable
Global Configuration Commands
Use this command to enable the timeout mechanism for the port.
Syntax
errdisable (recovery)[cause (bpduguard)|interval <10-1000000>]
Parameters
Usage Guidelines
Use a
[no] command with the errdisable parameter to disable the bridge timeout mechanism for
the port.
Example
RFS7000(config)#errdisable recovery interval 100
RFS7000(config)#
RFS7000(config)#errdisable recovery cause bpduguard
RFS7000(config)#
RFS7000(config)#no errdisable recovery cause bpduguard
RFS7000(config)#
recovery
Enables the timeout mechanism for the port to be enabled back.
cause (bpduguard)
Reason for errdisable.
• bpduguard – Recover from errdisable due to bpduguard.
interval <10-1000000>
Interval after which port shall be enabled.
• <10-1000000> – Errdisable-timeout interval in seconds.
