Description
Use this command to force the failover mechanism to occur so that the Standby
CP becomes the Active CP. Because haFailover results in CP reboot, a
warning message and a confirmation are displayed. If the user answers positively,
then the failover takes place.
On a StorageWorks Core switch, when HA synchronization is enabled and the
CPs are in sync, if a failover is initiated, the port traffic light will not flash during
the failover, even while traffic is continuing to flow.
