NOTE
On the NetIron CES and CER 2048 models the locations for the DIP key sockets are different for the
copper (-C and -CX) variants and the fiber-optic (-F and -FX) variants.
6. Replace the cover as follows:
• Hold the cover on each side at the center and align the front of the cover with the end of
the serial interface on the front panel, so that the cover extends slightly past the front
panel of the chassis.
• Slide the cover backwards until it is fully flush with the top of the chassis and slides into
place.
• Re-insert the cover screws.
7. If applicable, re-attach the rack mounting ears.
8. Reinstall the device in its equipment rack, if applicable.
9. Re-insert the power cables to power on the device.
There is no change required in the software image after upgrading the premium package, in order
to utilize the capabilities enabled by the premium software package.
