ip igmp snooping enable (VLAN version)
Enables the Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping for a specific VLAN interface.
Synopsis ip igmp snooping enable
no ip igmp snooping enable
Operands None
Defaults When snooping is enabled globally, IGMP snooping is enabled on all VLAN interfaces.
Command
Modes
Interface VLAN configuration mode
Description Use this command to enable or disable the Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping
on a specific VLAN interface.
Usage
Guidelines
This command performs IGMP snooping at the VLAN interface level.
Use the no version of this command to disable the function.
Examples To enable IGMP for a specific VLAN interface, enter Interface VLAN mode and execute the following
commands:
switch(config)#interface vlan 10
switch(config-if-vl-10)#ip igmp snooping
