Command Usage
First enter the class-map command to designate a class map and enter the Class Map
configuration mode. Then use match commands to specify the fields within ingress packets
that must match to qualify for this class map.
If an ingress packet matches an ACL specified by this command, any deny rules included in the
ACL will be ignored.
If match criteria includes an IP ACL or IP priority rule, then a VLAN rule cannot be included in
the same class map.
If match criteria includes a MAC ACL or VLAN rule, then neither an IP ACL nor IP priority rule can
be included in the same class map.
Up to 16 match entries can be included in a class map.
Example
This example creates a class map called “rd-class#1,” and sets it to match packets marked for
DSCP service value 3.
Console(config)#class-map rd-class#1 match-any

Console(config-cmap)#

Precedence service value 5.
Console(config)#class-map rd-class#2 match-any
Console(config-cmap)#match ip precedence 5
Console(config-cmap)#
This example creates a class map call “rd-class#3,” and sets it to match packets marked for VLAN
