Verifying proper operation

The following shows the output of the show module command when entered on the FSX 800. The
display output is similar on the FSX 1600.
Syntax: show module
The Status column shows the module status. The status can be one of the following:
• OK – The module is up and running
• ACTIVE – This applies to the FSX 800 and FSX 1600 management and switch fabric modules
only. This indicates that the module is the active module as opposed to the standby module.
• UNACTIVE -- This status indicates a lost connection, failed initialization, or failed power. Take
the module out and reinsert to continue.
• STANDBY – This applies to the FSX 800 and FSX 1600 management and switch fabric modules
only. This indicates that the module is the standby module as opposed to the active module.
• FAILED – The management module was unable to bring up an interface module properly. If you
observe this status, make certain that the interface module is installed properly. For more
information, refer to “Installing management and interface modules” on page 46.
• DISABLED – The module is not up and running.
