Verifying proper operation

Use the show version command to distinguish between a ServerIron 1000 and a ServerIron 1000F
device. Sample outputs from the two devices are shown below.
NOTE
The differentiating section of the output is italicized for clarity (Type: 1216 vs 1216F).

Out 1 Blinking Packets are currently being sent from BP1.

Out 2 Blinking Packets are currently being sent from BP2.

Power
Pwr1 On The chassis is currently receiving power from power supply 1.
Pwr2 On The chassis is currently receiving power from power supply 2.
Power Supply Status
AC (refer to
Figure 37)
Off No AC input power.
Green blinking Supply has AC input power, but DC output is not enabled.
Green steady Supply has AC input power, is enabled, and has good DC output.
Amber steady Power supply has failed.
DC (refer to
Figure 38)
Off No DC power. Make sure that the DC power source is -48 VDC @ 20 A (Operating voltage
range is -40 - -60 VDC).
Green blinking Supply has DC power, but output is not enabled.
Green steady Supply has DC power, is enabled, and has good output.
Amber steady Power supply has failed.
Fan Tray
Fn Green (steady) All fans are operating normally.
Fn Off Power is not being applied to the fan tray.
